Sun State Builders begins vertical construction on the $9.95 million headquarters for JFN Mechanical in Goodyear. Located at the southwest corner of Test Drive and 137th Avenue, the 67,779-square-foot office/warehouse facility will house a two-story luxury office and a fully functioning sheet metal fabrication warehouse. JFN Mechanical, a plumbing and mechanical contractor specializing in multiple dwelling unit projects across the Southwest, contracted Sun State Builders to construct the state-of-the-art building. Construction now underway is targeted for completion December 2025.
“Our goal is to create a space that reflects JFN Mechanical’s growth, innovation and commitment to quality while supporting the technical requirements of their fabrication operations,” states Andrea Piering, president of Sun State Builders. “This facility is not just functional, it is a showcase of modern industrial design.”
The ground-up design-build project will feature premium interior finishes, including custom furniture, cast-in-place interior walls, and full-height light-enhancing glass office partitions. JFN Mechanical is completing the plumbing scope of work in-house. Once complete, the facility will support both administrative and production functions, enabling seamless coordination between teams.
“JFN Mechanical, as both the client and a subcontractor, brings a unique level of collaboration to this project,” adds Sun State Builders CEO Mike Forst. “It’s especially rewarding to build a space that directly serves the people involved in its construction.”
